Oracle Specialist - East Midlands - £up to £45,000 plus annual bonus plus benefits
Our client an Oracle Certified Partner for Database, Application Server, Collaboration Suite and E Business Suite has an immediate requirement for an Oracle Specialist. You role will involve working on leading edge Oracle 9i and 10g Database and Application Server projects throughout the UK. A lot of time will be spent on client sites. You must be prepared for a lot of travel and overnight stays away from home and be able to work on own initiative at home. There will be a lot of interface with sales team and other members of technical team. As important as the right technical skills is a positive `can do` attitude and excellent customer facing communication skills. Must have the following skills: Oracle V7-V9*10g, Oracle Application Server, must have good business acumen * client facing skills, excellent, DBA Skills inc scoping, DB design, Perf Tuning, Backup & Recovery, A Technical * Database architect, Cross platform knowledge i.e. MS, SQL Server, Solaris, Other Unix etc, Veritas and Skills Transfer ability.
